Zone Governors - YOU Are the Key
to Effective Ruritan Communication

YOU are the most important communication link in all of Ruritan. Yes, that’s right. Ruritan zone governors are considered by almost every national and district leader to be the most important person in the communication chain from clubs to the national board and back down again. Yet, the duties and responsibilities of the Ruritan zone governors is often taken for granted.
Zone governors carry essential messages between Ruritan clubs –where the actual business of Ruritan is being carried out day in and day out – and the district and national leadership of the organization.
Without zone governors, the messages traveling both ways are blocked. District and national leaders may never know what concerns, problems, and successes are taking place at the club level. Club presidents may never hear the plans for motivation, growth, and progress being formulated at the district and national leadership level.
Please take this opportunity to review this newsletter and make sure you understand all the current growth programs and other national initiatives in place for 2008. Use the check list below on every visit to a Ruritan club – reminding the Ruritan members there about upcoming events and activities. All of Ruritan is counting on YOU.
